PINTO X MARCEL WANDERS - One Minute Delft Black Vase No. 8

On this vase, the gesture breaks into fragments. A multitude of small black touches, tightly packed on the shoulder and around the neck, then spread across the whole body and give it an almost marbled look. No area dominates: the decoration reads as one continuous, vibrant texture, from lip to foot.

Twelve vases, twelve minutes, twelve originals: each piece of the One Minute Delft Black collection, created for PINTO at Fahad Hariri’s invitation, holds the imprint of a moment that will never happen again. Made in high-fired earthenware by Royal Delft and hand painted by Marcel Wanders, this vase is unique and signed.
