STUDIO 11.6
Cemre Karataş draws on dual roots in London and Istanbul to explore tension and form in porcelain and stoneware. Her work is minimalist, ritual-driven and placed selectively in architecture-driven interiors.
Working through clay as a primary medium, Studio 11.6 explores tension, restraint, fragility and quiet presence through forms that exist between object and sculpture.
For this collaboration, PINTO and Studio 11.6 developed a series of ceramic pieces shaped through texture, balance and controlled imperfection. Each work carries the trace of gesture, material memory and subtle transformation, creating sculptural presences that enter into dialogue with the spaces around them.
