PINTO X MARCEL WANDERS - One Minute Delft Black Vase No. 2

This high-fired earthenware vase lets the white breathe. A broad splash of ink settles on the shoulder, a few long strokes slide down the ribs on the opposite side, and light touches just graze the foot. The neck stays pristine. An airy, almost calligraphic composition, hand painted by Marcel Wanders in a single minute.

For PINTO, the Dutch designer revisits One Minute Delft, a language born in 2006 from his fascination with Delftware. The blue disappears and black takes its place. Made by Royal Delft, the manufactory founded in 1653, the piece is signed and can never be reproduced.
