Its backrest, upholstered in ivory chenille, opens out like a pair of spread wings beneath a teardrop headrest, while the sculpted American walnut frame holds it like a protective exoskeleton.

The walnut armrests grow out of the body of the chair like organic extensions. The generous, rounded seat, dressed in a dark Maison Lelièvre fabric, rests on slender tapered legs. Warm wood and soft upholstery, sculptural precision and enveloping volumes answer one another from every angle: a piece conceived as a presence in the room, somewhere between sculpture and furniture.

Materials: sculpted American walnut frame and armrests, Maison Lelièvre fabric seat, Pinto × Nobilis chenille backrest.

Design:

Mehdi Dakhli for Pinto

Creative direction:

Fahad Hariri

Frame:

Sculpted American walnut

Seat:

Maison Lelièvre fabric

Backrest:

Pinto × Nobilis chenille

Reference:

MEH-02

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0608/1321/3911/files/pinto-mehdi-dakhli-fauteuil-sting-1.jpg?v=1792949150
