Around it, fragments, flecks and small touches scatter freely over the body, while the almost white neck keeps only a few light traces. The base is ringed in black.

For this piece, Marcel Wanders followed the four rules of One Minute Delft: no sketches, no corrections, no repetition, one uninterrupted minute. At Fahad Hariri’s invitation, the historic Delft blue gives way to the black of the PINTO universe. Made by Royal Delft, the manufactory founded in 1653, the vase is unique and signed.

Collection:

One Minute Delft Black

Designer:

Marcel Wanders

Manufacturer:

Royal Delft, Delft, the Netherlands

Edition:

Unique signed piece, series of 12 vases

Material:

High-fired earthenware

Decoration:

Hand painted by Marcel Wanders

Colour:

Black on white earthenware

Height:

Approx. 60 cm

Reference:

WAN-06
